Most of the balance sheet items in the form of the cross-share holdings with its 900 or so suppliers and afilliate companies that it partially owns, and the financial relationship with its bank (which provides money at negative interest rates and is probably functionaly insolvent like most big Japanese banks) are largely off its balance sheet.
