[Firechannel] Head On Collision Between An SUV And A Big Rig | Firechannel: On the evening of April 1st, Long Beach Fire Department units responded to 6170 Paramount Blvd to a report of Injury traffic accident with a trapped victim.  E12 arrived onscene  to find a head-on collision between an SUV and a big rig.  There was extensive damage to the SUV as well as a large amount of damage to the front end of the tractor-trailer.  Tragically, the driver of the SUV was killed by the force of the impact.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.  Fire units remained onscene to assist with the removal  of the victim from the wreckage.
