[Shaunwoodward.com] Should you be able to vote in a General Election at 16?: by Shaun ...: were once discounted for the same reason. If sixteen year olds are not able to make such a "big decision", then it should follow that they cannot understand their actions, which could mean that they should not be arrested for any crime, or if so, then their adult guardian should be held responsible for their actions (Seeing as adults would influence their kids in the vote, they would influence them in regular life too, is this not a logical conclusion?) This would mean that children could not even be charged as adults, for children do not understand what they have done. This should also mean, following history's lead, that these disenfranchised teens need not be taxed on any level, since they are not able to comment under the law as to where their monies go.
