[fuckedgaijin] Real men drive Hello Kitty Smart Cars - fuckedgaijin: The reason we're featuring Antonio Garay in Shutdown Corner today is that we are reasonably sure in guaranteeing that this is the only time you will see a 6-foot-4, 320-pound NFL defender driving a tiny convertible smart car c with the Hello Kitty logo on it.

[Gaijin Chronicles] Battle of the Sexes « Gaijin Chronicles: I’m a father to be, and imagine my daughter is this hot nerd girl that men would gladly battle each other to the death for.  Like fathers don’t already have enough to worry about defending their daughters from the perverted thoughts of men…but a hot nerd girl?

[petapixel] Interview with John Sypal of Tokyo Camera Style: The fact that I can upload the pictures once I get home that same day keeps things interesting for viewers. I understand that a smart phone would be even quicker for this but I like my GRDII.

[Gaijin Wonders] Back To Saitama… « Gaijin Wonders: Nonessential person I may very well be, but on Sunday night,   I headed back to Saitama by first taking the Shinkansen (also known as the bullet train) to Tokyo station. Nagoya is roughly 250 miles away from Tokyo, but the speeding bullet train gets you there in under 2 hours. There is something about the Shinkansen that really does it for me-something about the combination of the train’s spotless cars, its clear English announcements, its efficiency, its cabin attendants like flight attendants as they push  carts of snacks and drinks down the aisle.

[Gaijin Chronicles] Work Barbeque « Gaijin Chronicles: Az’s Penis: Imagine this woman, with all the ferocity of a 30 year-old woman’s amped up sex drive, riding the absolute shit out of us, while pouring beer all over that ample C/D cup and feeding us well-cooked strips of beef.

[Daily Life of a Gaijin] Using my cell phone (WAON) to pay for things. « Daily Life of a Gaijin: Some of you may have heard the stories of people in Japan using their cellphone to pay for groceries, as a train pass, and buying drinks from a vending machine. When I moved to Japan for the second time, I decided that I was going to take advantage of as many things as my phone had to offer.

[Wikitravel] Japan travel guide - Wikitravel: (The taxi stand will usually either have a long line of patient passengers, or a long line of idle taxis.) If the destination is a well-known location, such as a hotel, train station, or public facility, the name alone should be enough. Note that even in the major cities, extremely few taxi drivers can speak English, so carrying a pamphlet or card of your hotel or destination with the address on it can be very helpful.

[APB Reloaded] APB Reloaded: Entering the Open Beta "Home Stretch" - Part I: The first 90+ days of Open Beta have been great in helping us identify how players actually interact with the game, where players (like yourself) go, what you do, what you are willing to pay for, what you like to spend time on, what customizations you like, what cars you drive, what players you group up with, how you make your clan, what you hate, what you like and what activities motivate someone to continue playing the game (and sending virtual love-letters to the staff), and what issues and problems drives someone to rage-quit (and makes them email us 15 tickets in a row that all start with FFFF---KKK). The amount of data collected in Open Beta has been staggering.

[Steamy Trails Community Blog] Gaijin: Chapter 4 « Steamy Trails Community Blog: he slowly slid the long deadbolt back into place by stabbing it with one of the points and slowly moving it back a millimeter at a time. It was a frustrating task made more difficult by the fact that the bolt was spring-loaded, if he screwed up, it simply went back into place.
