One of my favourite sounds is”¦
[Blog of Leonid Mamchenkov] …the sound of my car’s engine at 3,500-4,500 RPMs. If combined with the thrill of acceleration, I’m practically going positively mad.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[` for Eternity... (:] ` Lonely // I have nobody. Its the second da...: And guess who walked into the library right in the middle of our (me, Dinah Bee, Shahidah, Sharifah) Truth or Dare game?? None other than Mr F himself!
[Asmallvictory.net] a small victory: Check it out, I'm like a buzzbomb: Though I have to say that someday, someone will use the idea Allah passed on to me - having Scarborough Fair played in a zombie movie - Picture them all milling about outside the house in Night of the Living Dead. "Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyyyyme..." - and that will become the greatest movie/music moment ever.
[Madbull4.net] The Mad Bull's Blog: Hi Mad Bull-Hope you got some well needed sleep. I have two cousins that got engaged after 2 and 3 months of dating and they're married going on close to twenty years.
[Bookangst.blogspot.com] BookAngst 101: Tom Wolfe Wuz Robbed! or, The "Irrelevance Factor ...: The editor who'd acquired it, Stanley Kauffmann, had left Knopf before it was published (or thereabouts), and no one at Knopf gave a damn about the book - their tip for the NBA was William Maxwell's "The Chateau" (not to say that that isn't a fine novel). So Liebling read "Moviegoer," loved it, told his wife Jean Stafford (an NBA judge that year, as it happened) about it - and "Moviegoer" ended up winning the NBA (over "Franny and Zooey," no less).
[Misheru.com] Misheru: Missy's Blog: I have been explaining this to my class, but you can set up feeds for your favorite blogs. Basically, you add blogs into your feeds, and whenever there is a new post, it goes to the Bloglines browser.
