[Autoblog] Scion’s keeping tight lipped on the vehicle’s prospects, but it seems to us as more of a flexing of the brand’s customizing muscle. Developed in-house by Toyota and built by Five Axis, creators of a host of craze Scion SEMA concepts, the FUSE has many fun bits and pieces that will never make it to production, like the much talked about wheel-embedded turn signals, color programmable headlights and fog lamps and a large Scion badge that doubles as a video monitor on which downloaded images and video can be displayed.

[Straightline] Scion FUSE concept: Although I am somewhat disappointed in the overall design of the Fuse concept, I am impressed with the subtle characteristics of the car that were also incorporated into the t2B concept. I hope that these characteristics--such as the taillights and smooth profile--do show up in the second generation xB and tC, and I look forward to future Scion designs, both concept and production.
