[GM-VOLT : Chevy Volt Electric Car Site] 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Eco: carcus1: Its a bit of a folly to advertise Highway Mpg and equate that to “hybrid- like efficiency”.Most all of us drive in a daily environment that more closely resembles the city epa testing standards. While the highway mpg may serve for bragging rights, its the city mpg that really matters./p.s. I test drove a 2010 Honda insight a few weeks back.I achieved 48 mpg on the display during a 16 mile test drive in city traffic using eco mode and it was my first time using Hondas system.I still think the Honda is under-rated and that itll be a sleeper that gains plenty of sales momentum if fuel prices increase. It was much more enjoyable to drive than the gen ii prius.

[drive blog] drive blog: Are Aussie cars overrated?: The Camry and Aurion these days are the only decent Australian-built cars, unfortunately they could reasonably not be considered as "Australian" as Commodores and Falcons because they haven't been made here as long and are owned by the Japanese rather than by Americans (for some reason a American-owned car is considered better). There needs to be a new Australian brand that can start over again and this time not be swallowed up by foreigners, and this time the brand would need to have a policy of testing cars heaps in Australian conditions and using x-rays or something to find build faults.
