Ford Japan: Not Just There For Fun. | The Truth About Cars
[The Truth About Cars] So I’d say Ford has better chances selling Mustangs there (I heard Japanese youth love American pony cars) than trying to out-hybrid the domestics or simply introduce their EU market cars.

[Daily Markets] The other car nameplates that did well in the country include Ford Focus, Ford Mondeo and Ford S-MAX. Ford’s passenger car joint venture in China, Changan Ford Mazda Automobile, showed an impressive 46% gain in sales to 205,563 vehicles through the first 6 months of 2010.

Ford Takes Hype-Free Stance on Hybrids and Electric Cars | Hybrid Cars
[HybridCars.com] When Ford comes out with a plug in hybrid that can go at least 100 miles on the electric motor before the gas or preferrably diesel motor kicks in, they will definately get my money. The vehicle will also have to be able to carry all my toys (windsurf gear,bikes and related accessories,and camping gear.) A Focus all wheel drive wagon would probably fit the bill nicely.

Since those dealerships would be hard pressed to make a living selling only Lincoln models at the moment, Ford also announced that it will launch seven all-new or heavily revised Lincolns in the next four years, as well as further set Lincoln apart from Ford with exclusive powertrains.
