[Autoblog.com] Detroit Auto Show: Dodge Charger - Autoblog - www.autoblog.com _: My largest complaint is that I wish the front end was a wee bit longer. I also with the grill (half or all) and the lights matched up together better (while still keeping the 4-pane style indicative of a Dodge vehicle, not unlike the 1970 Dodge Charger). In addition, other than keeping the light pattern of the Intrepid, I would also prefer the elongated pattern of the 1969 Charger. (I'm not going to touch the issue of the doors and hood.) Of course, since my dreams of an ideal Charger R/T (not Charger 500) stop at 1969 (with a Hemi Orange body and pushbar), I'm kind of biased.

[Autoblog.com] Detroit Auto Show: Autoweek blows embargo, releases official Dodge ...: My embargo date for the Dodge Charger reads January 9, 12:01 a.m. I’m not sure what corporate site AutoWeek uses but I guess they’re either following Robert Farago’s advice of breaking down the embargo wall or got permission to run the slew of official Dodge Charger images. Discuss amongst yourselves. I do like it, but no it doesn’t blow me away.

Styling details like a more hard-edged front end keep the Charger from looking too much like its Magnum stablemate, while its more defined hips separate it nicely from the Chrysler 300. And of course, it's got the Hemi.
