Qt Auto Newshttp://www.qtautonews.com [Qt Auto News] According to BMW, the technique is called Flame Surface because it is “reminiscent of the forms of energetic flames, such as those from the burning of gas under pressure". Flame Surfacing “gives body surfaces the freedom to turn in on themselves, lending a high degree of visual tension…a controlled tension whose energy pervades the entire visual image without in any way diminishing the vehicle’s overall harmony. [AlwaysOnline] True Facts: The treasury department has more than twenty people assigned to catching people who violate the trade and tourism embargo with Cuba. In contrast, it has only four employees assigned to track the assets of Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.

[Dotnet.org.za] Forest Blog: The decision to cut my connection was rude, smacks of really bad and close minded mis-management, and left a very bad taste in the mouth. I decided to put it up on my personal blog to keep people posted of the development, particularly in light of the fact that in a previous post i had recommended their service to people who read this blog - they deserve to know the situation. Even though I was seething at the time, I tried to make sure the post contained only the facts of the matter, waiting to see how it all panned out before I added my own personal opinion, as I am doing now.

Fastcompany.comhttp://www.fastcompany.com [Fastcompany.com] BMW: Driven by Design: With a global recession under way and many carmakers awash in red ink, BMW has decided that now is the time to unleash an extraordinary product offensive on the luxury and near-luxury end. In the early 1980s, it produced four lines of cars: the 3, 5, 6, and 7 Series. Within the next six years, it will break out 20 new models and 3 new engine series, including the 1 Series, which will target young buyers; a new 6 Series, which will be aimed squarely at high-end Mercedes models; an X3, which will take on premium SUVs; variants of the Mini; and a new generation of super-luxury Rolls-Royces.

Internettime.com[Internettime.com] The Jay-Blog: Visual Archives: The Musee Jacquemart-Andre is a sumptuous 19th Century mansion on Blvd Haussmann not far from l'Arc de Triomphe that houses a wonderful collection of Botticelli, Titian, Bernini, and the like. Currently the Musee is also hosting Caillebotte to Picasso, a beautiful modern collection that includes several works by Henri Cross (not related to the famous blogger). I spent more than an hour wandering through the museum, often bending over backwards to admire the handpainted ceilings.

[Blight.com] To Blog or not To Blog: Mind you, it is pretty cool that somehow, somewhere, my blog has appeared in a search for Australian publications and has been deemed good enough (whatever that scale is!) to be included.
