[doctorvee] Goodness me! Yet another exciting race! There is yet to be a truly boring race so far this year. What a season its turning out to be. Now even the Monaco Grand Prix has been very exciting ” it usually isnt because overtaking is supposed to be impossible. Well that theory was well and truly tested to destruction by Heidfeld, Webber, Trulli and of course Fisichella, who managed to get overtaken by about five different drivers in the space of about ten seconds.

[blogjam] ring cycle pork: So 21st Century urban man has developed an alternative. He heads down to Borough Market on a Saturday morning, his wallet flush with freshly-minted notes, and hands over £35 for a five-kilo chunk of organically-reared pork shoulder. There’s something truly liberating about handling a lump of meat this size, something to do with the fresh scent of blood in one’s nostrils, I expect. And while this transaction may not carry the full thrill of an all-night wild boar hunt through unfamiliar terrain, it does seem to satisfy some kind of primal longing.

[pcm266 - Itsesäälin Suurlähettiläs] http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/m...: What shook us most was the rate at which the car took off; at one stage it looked as if it was going to smash trough the fence and fly into the grandstand. The Jordan, more by luck than anything else, finished on its side, upside down and against the barrier. That was bad enongh but the marshals promptly tipped the car over and, as it crashed on to its bottom, yon could see Barrichello's head thrashing around in the cockpit.
[bienvenue chez dafyd - blog] Formula 1: Apparently, the Formula 1 season has started again. Fortunately, I'm not home at the moment, so I don't have to hear JJ whittering on about it all the time. Unfortunately, I will be home in a fortnight (woohoo!), just in time for the next Grand Prix.

Bill Walker's Blahg : Weblog: I'm sure that this won't affect nearly as many people nearly as much as the death of Pope John Paul, but this carries a personal touch for me. Monaco is host to my favorite Formula One race, a classic old road course through the city streets that is always exciting. Nothing beats the sound of the F1 cars going through the parking garage before the swimming pool chicane at 18,000 RPM. Formula One teams actually spend millions of dollars modifying and testing their cars for this one of a kind race.
